Designed by Sebastian Herkner for Zanat

Mati ("mother" in archaic Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian) features a curved armrest that imparts an enveloping, almost maternal sense of comfort. Designer Sebastian Herkner's solid-wood armchair also features rounded legs with a flat surface on the outside, hand-carved in a pattern that limns a microscopic view of timber's cellular structure. Produced with Zanat's UNESCO-cited artisan skill,  the seating comes in a choice of wood finishes, with an upholstered seat in black or brown leather.
