A wider version with armrests joins the Drawn side chair from the 1958 series by Danish design icons Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard Nielsen. Brought to life again by Copenhagen's &Tradition from the original sketches, the seating is constructed of turned and milled solid wood with a form-pressed backrest and distinguished by a handwoven seat employing more than 100 meters of natural paper cord. Hvidt and Nielsen were midcentury pioneers in exporting their country's style to the world with such relatively attainable furnishings and their clean-lined look endures, extolling traditional craftsmanship and organic materials.
