We love the way this chair welcomes us with open arms. Jaime Hayon's inaugural entry for Copenhagen-based makes a statement both physically and aesthetically. The playful graphic serpentine shape is counterbalanced by the well-balanced, sturdy legs. Shell is made from molded polyurethane foam with a metal frame and glass fiber reinforcements, then covered in cold cured foam. A wide range of upholstery options are available in leather or textile from Camira, Gabriel, Kvadrat, CA-MO. Two different options for the legs: white oiled oak or stained black oak.Jaime is a rock star in the modern design arena, having collaborated with Bosa Ceramiche, Camper, Lladro and a host of interior and architectural work around the world. He brings a signature whimsy to his work, yet always considering that design is also about living with the stuff. What we love most about Jaime is his design ethos: it's about creating happiness. We couldn't agree more.
