Cloud Platter

Cloud unfolds in a whirl of rounded shapes that shimmer in highly reflective polished aluminum. Given his own background in metalworking, Tom Dixon was inspired by the vanishing skills of artisans in India—and every hammer and indentation from stretching and warping the metal is preserved on the surface, attesting to the hand-workmanship in the design. With an organic shape reminiscent of seedpods, the impressively sized tabletop piece can be used for a variety of purposes and is also dry-food safe.
