Creating a personal zone of intimacy for contemplation or reading, Arc offers a highback version of its seating. With a thick piping along the outer edge, designer Hallgeir Homstvedt provides a visual clue that separates the all-enveloping inside of the chair from the smoother outside confines. Conceived especially to blur the line between contract and residential furnishings, the shell, seat pad and backrest are available with upholstery in fabric or leather and are grounded by a solid walnut or ash base with black steel feet.
