Noted Danish designer Jens H. Quistgaard first created his interpretation of classical X-base seating for Skagerak in 1986. The now-iconic folding stool has a simple triangular construction with an assuredly stable surface that can also be used as a bedside table or decorative stand for books, objets or flowerpots. It’s crafted in solid oak or in untreated teak which can also be used outdoors.
