Midcentury designer Antoni de Moragas Gallissà was a force behind the architectural renewal in post-war Spain and this namesake lamp sat on his own desk. A sturdy wooden cylinder supports a head with 3 bulbs, surrounded by the generous circular shade, handmade from cotton ribbon with thread running along the edge, much like a bookbinding. Crafted in natural oak or darker sapeli wood, the lamp emits warm illumination above and below the shade, in a splendid contrast of light and shadow.
