The harmonious lines echo the natural beauty of the fabled alpine ski area in Niseko, Japan, and especially the pristine northern island of Hokkaido. At once modest and striking due to these Nordic and Japanese influences, Odin's 4 die-cast aluminum legs cradle the seat base and curved backrest in laminated solid ash. It's an amalgam of well-chosen materials that celebrate both Scandinavian simplicity and Japanese clarity of expression. Yet it's designed and produced by New Zealander's Jamie McLellan and the studio Resident.
