Meaning “to sit at ease” in Japanese, Anza reflects a 6-year collaboration between Portuguese designer Rui Pereira and Kyoto-based Ryosuke Fukusada that taps into their respective cultural traditions. In matte-lacquered or stained black oak, the deeply padded bench features a range of upholstery selections including an update on an 18th century, patchwork-effect textile in Please Wait to be Seated’s own color range. With the bench in 2 sizes, the collection also includes a pouf and a marble-topped table (also at A+R) to enhance both domestic and public environs.
