Design duo Kaksikko’s well-considered armchair version of Akademia gets a custom layer of upholstery to complement its softly curved seat, back and armrests. A mix of cultural influences—Shaker style, Japanese design traditions, Finnish heritage—it's crafted in sustainably grown ash or oak and molded plywood, making an admirable choice for dining, meetings or as a side chair.
