Danish brand Muuto realized the collection for fellow Helsinki designer Mika Tolvanen, who named it "Visu," the Danish word for "precision." Mika, who is part of the Rehti Design Group, observed: "I wanted my chair to have an unobtrusive and timeless nature that is familiar but never boring and without sacrificing function or ergonomics." No design ennui here: the Visu Lounge Chair is uncommonly versatile, whether the choice is natural oak veneer or lacquered ash veneer in more-than-basic black or an assortment of hues.
