A solid-oak wood base brings a naturalistic bent to this Fiber Stool by Danish modernist brand Muuto. Lacquer-finished in black or natural, the base complements the choice of black or white molded seat, a riff on the iconic Scandinavian shell chair. Designer team Iskos-Berlin bring the concept into the present by recasting the seat in an innovative plastic material composed of 25 percent wood fibers with an appealing matte texture.
