By pushing it to the limit, as the saying goes, renowned Copenhagen designer Thomas Bentzen says he achieved his heart's desire in the Cover armchair. Going for a crisp update on the traditional shape, he spent 3 years playing with the twists and turns of molded veneered plywood to create lightweight but exceptionally sturdy seating. Produced by Danish brand Muuto, the chair is made without any metal parts. Instead it is locked together by the bent veneer armrests. In lacquered ash in a variety of hues or natural oak veneer, Cover is highly adaptable as a desk or dining chair or on its own as an accent piece.
