Conjuring up his floor lamp, Dutch designer Rick Tegelaar arrays a bloom of fine wires with the delicacy of jewelry across Filigree’s translucent screen shade. Shielding the powerful LED light at the heart of the lamp, the takeaway is a soft glow of illumination evenly across the room. When pointed towards a wall or ceiling with the ornamental metalwork flower structure facing front, the lamp projects a playful network of shadows to mesmerize and entertain.
