Massproductions signature Serif series adds a comfortable swivel chair with a 4-star base to its squared-off revamp of the modernist shell chair. Designer Chris Martin employs layered, glued oak or beech for the molded seating, with a curved solid piece that edges the backrest and defines the chair's shape, much like a serif tops a letterform. Offered in both armless and armchair versions, the range of base treatments complements wood finishes ranging from natural oak to red lacquer.
