The Ginger Pendant Light is designer Joan Gaspar's roundabout tribute to an unlikely inspiration—Ginger Baker, legendary drummer and founder of 1960s rock band Cream. It's easy to imagine the crash of his cymbals in the shape of the aerial shade. Achieving that refined curve takes cutting-edge technique, joining layers of paper and wood under high pressure. The result is a non-glaring LED light, thanks to the flat diffuser with its white interior to reflect the light. From Barcelona-based Marset, the pendant is available in 2 sizes with an elegant wood finish in either natural oak or wenge.
