Modernist designer Jacques Adnet was known for his avant-garde designs with uncommon combinations of leather, metal and glass—as exhibited in his superb mid-1950s coffee table. Also influenced by the Art Deco heritage of his native France, Adnet's piece has 3 graciously curved metal legs that meet at the center. The structure supports a round glass top that is edged with a hand-crafted leather rim and the final adornment with a trio of gilded brass rings.
