Japanese designer Tomoyuki Sakakida's intriguing side table juxtaposes an asymmetrical T-shaped base with a flat swath of tabletop. With a name that refers to its carefully considered use of materials, Suki has an angular steel frame in a choice of brass-plate or black powder-coat finish. The respective top elements in variegated Towada stone or inky Urushi lacquer complement the pleasing spareness of the designer's deliberate choices.
