With a classically modern profile, Lite's largest version carries its substantial proportions easily, atop a base in nickel-finish silver. Inside, the sofa is constructed with a steel-reinforced laminated wood frame with a spring suspension system adapted from automobiles. Seat and back cushions are made of CFC-free polyurethane, softened by a fabric wrap and the back cushions are baffled to prevent shifting of feathers and batting, for better lumbar support. Each sofa is handmade by a Bensen craftsmen, with upholstery in a wide selection of carefully sourced fabrics and leathers. Fabric covers removable for cleaning or replacement.
