Oh Captain! Like a pirated booty of gold doubloons and copper coins, this version of Bend Good’s armchair sports a metallic sheen. Designer Gaurav Nanda’s L.A. studio turns out purpose-built furnishings that undergo upwards of 400 handmade spot-welds—known as “bending”—for unrivaled structural strength. And the curve of the seat and the close spacing of the wires make for a really comfortable version of a wire chair. Made of iron (that can be repeatedly recycled) metallic plated finish; intended for interior use only.
