With smartly articulated functionality and optimal height, Americana's floor lamp version also makes the perfect companion for reading. Designed by Miguel Milá in the mid-1960s, it's built around a satin-nickel rotating arm with an elegant white linen shade that softens its updated LED illumination. With an admiring nod to George Hansen's legendary swing arm style a decade earlier, Milá streamlined the notion to gently swivel the light nearer or further away, while the wide metal base stays put.
