Description

Borge Mogensen’s superlative Library Table was suggested by an English gateleg design dating back to the Baroque period. But in the Danish master’s hands, it’s interpreted with pure lines in solid oak with the elimination of anything unnecessary — which contributes to its enduring status. By raising and securing the hinged leaves at either end, the length of the table can be doubled and when not in use, the extensions fold down to hang vertically, emphasizing the clean, rectangular profile.
