Extending their ur-design, creative directors Neri & Hu expand their Mandarin range with a generously proportioned lounge chair that bridges the aesthetic distance between classical Asian furniture and mid-century sensibilities. Embodying spiritual Eastern philosophy, the Stellar Works design leaders say the collection can be seen as a dialogue between the sphere and the square motifs. The result is elegant seating that's also fit for comfortably sprawling, with a curved seat fabricated in molded fiberglass and sheathed in fine leather. A rich complement, the graceful solid-wood frame comes in ash or walnut, both with brass-plated detail.
