Moaré takes its name from the optical illusion ("moiré" in English) created as the pendant's superimposed lampshades combine in new tonalities. Spanish National Design Award winner Antoni Arola varies the intrigue in a range of sizes and single and double versions with an array of hues that lend varied color effects. The pendant features 3 central LED bulbs with an interior diffuser that creates an even glow filtered through the semi-transparencies of the layered shades.
