A simple cast-iron base supporting a column-like clear acrylic shade makes the this floor lamp, like the rest of its siblings in the Cortina collection, an exercise in minimalism. There's certainly a strength of purpose in Pablo Pardo' resolutely architectural form. Overlaid with a mesh diffuser, the fully dimmable light source suits nearly any mood or setting. Duly impressive when placed singly or in groupings of the available varied heights.
