A much-lauded mid-'60s icon, Stemlight was a rule breaker with an all-in-one profile that jettisoned the need for a lampshade. Los Angeles designer Bill Curry echoed the Space Age in the organic shape of a frosted-glass globe joined to the slender, tulip-like stem, with a simple rotary dimmer switch to control the light intensity. Just as apropos today for home, commercial or hospitality settings, the table model comes in 2 heights to mix and match with each other or the floor and pendant versions (also at A+R).
