Without any visible extra bracing or supports, Tokyo brand By Interiors pairs an ultra-thin tabletop and cleanly juxtaposed legs for the lightweight but incredibly sturdy Tee. In a choice of square or round models, Japanese designer Tomoya Tabuchi’s table is engineered with a novel honeycomb panel that forms the tabletop, surfaced in a choice of laminate or wood. In a further refinement, the legs are easily screwed into the top panel without any tools by dint of specially engineered joinery. Tee’s singular concept has received one of Japan’s top honors, the Good Design award.
