Stedelijk Stackable Chair

The Stedelijk Stackable Chair was commissioned by the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam to furnish its new entrance sculpture hall and bar area. This chair marks Marcelis's debut in chair design, reflecting her unique style. Made entirely from aluminum, it features a continuous flow from legs to backrest, emphasizing the material and offering a lightweight, stackable solution. The chair's design complements the museum's smooth white exterior, blending design with sculptural elements.
