Description
Handvärk adds a gracious round version of its marble-topped statement table with a minimalistic steel frame. Topped with a substantial disc of the opulent stone, the piece illustrates founder Emil Thorup’s view of “aesthetic sustainability” in beautifully crafted pieces with an enduring look meant to last a lifetime. With its elegant slim structure in a choice of black powder coat, black with solid brass or stainless finish, the 4 marble selections number a snowy white with delicate striations, grey in a multi-tonal pattern, inky black with bold white or a green variety with metallic touches and white veining—with each tabletop a uniquely patterned expanse.

Aesthetic sustainability. This is the Handvärk way.
Designer and architect Emil Thorup founded the company in 2015 with an emphasis on handcrafted furnishings, stripped down to their functional and graphic essence, and made of luxe materials to stand the length of time.
The Nordic DNA notwithstanding, the brand’s hallmark are the brackets repeated at least 8-12 times per piece. So, too, are the materials: in contrast to the penchant for wood by his fellow Danes, Emil focuses on premium steel, brass, iron, marble and leather. From the Modular Sofa with Chaise to the spare Console or Studio Floor Lamp, these basics are anything but.
